Benefits
Pay and Allowances
Job Corps pays each student a living allowance twice a month while in the program. But just like a real job, taxes are deducted from this allowance.
Housing
Our center can house 130 male students and 130 female students in several all-male and all-female dormitories. Each dormitory has four wings, and each wing has nine rooms. Each dormitory has bathroom and shower facilities, laundry facilities, TV rooms, lounges, and vending machines.
Students may live with up to three other students in a dorm room. Each student has his or her own bed with drawers underneath and a closet with a solid locking door.
Meals
Our students are provided three nutritious meals each day at no cost in one of the best cafeteria facilities in Job Corps.
Wellness Center
The wellness center is open daily for basic medical, dental, and optometrist services which are provided free to our students. The wellness center also provides 24-hour emergency medical services. Weight management, smoking cessation, pregnancy prevention, and other health-related programs are also available.
